Automate your workflow with Cisco AI Assistant
Turn post-meeting insights into JIRA tickets, and create accounts, generate leads, and update opportunities in Salesforce, all without ever leaving your Webex conversation.
Integrate JIRA with AI Assistant
Turn on AI Assistant integrations for JIRA before enabling JIRA workflow automation for individual users.
Turn on AI Assistant integrations for JIRA
- Sign in to Control Hub.
- Go to .
- In the AI Assistant integrations section, click Set up.
If you've already set up integrations with one or more third-party tools, the button shows as Manage.
- In the Third party tools section, click Jira.
- Under Choose your organization's service type to apply the Jira integration, check the box next to Cloud.
- Click Apply.
- To enable JIRA workflow automation for the organization, scroll down to the AI Assistant workflow automations section, then turn on Jira.
- Click Save.
Enable JIRA workflow automation for individual users
- Complete steps 1—6 above, then go to and select a user.
- Select the General tab, then scroll down to AI Assistant workflow automations.
- Turn on Jira.
- Click Save.
Once users authorize access, they can do the following by selecting the meeting in the Meeting recaps tab:
- Create a ticket—For example, from the action item "Jane will create a Jira ticket to fix the color of the Save button", a Jira ticket is created.
- Update a ticket—For example, from the action item "John will update the description of the Jira ticket for fixing the save button color", Jira ticket fields are updated.
- Clone a ticket—Clones the ticket and modify it with provided context.
- Create a similar ticket—Copies all required fields to a new ticket and modifies it with provided context.
Enable Salesforce workflow automation
Salesforce uses a unified login URL and OAuth 2.0 authentication, and requires external applications to obtain authorization (consumer key and consumer secret) to access the Salesforce data.
Create an External Client App to generate the consumer key and consumer secret, then configure them.

In the AI Assistant integrations section, click Set up. If you've already set up integrations with one or more third-party tools, the button shows as Manage. |

In the Third party tools section, click Salesforce. |

Enter your consumer key and consumer secret. If you need to create these, see Create your consumer key and consumer secret in Salesforce. |

Once users authorize access, they can now do the following from the Meeting Recap window:
- Create a Salesforce account
- Create an opportunity
- Create a sales lead
- Add the meeting summary into Salesforce opportunities as a call log
- Modify Salesforce opportunities (stage, close date, and others)
