Hide my availability and status

Right-click from your contacts list and direct messages, or you can hide your availability and status from others from the settings menu. When you hide your availability and status from a user, you'll see a in the message area.

Right-click on the user's profile picture.

Click Hide my availability and status > Hide.


 

You can also hide your availability and status from users in your settings.

  • Click on your profile picture, and select Settings > Privacy.

  • Under Hide my availability and status from another person, click Add.

  • Add people by name or email. When finished, click Close > Save.

Show my availability and status

After hiding your availability and status from a user, you can right-click from your contact list and direct messages, or from your settings to show your availability and status again.

You can also show your availability and status to users from the settings menu.

  • Click on your profile picture, and select Settings > Privacy.

  • Under Hide my availability and status from another person, click Edit.

  • To show your availability and status to a user, click X beside their name to remove them from the list.

  • When finished, click Close > Save.
