Solution:

ActiveX Settings for Internet Explorer, and IE Trusted Site Policy for Active Directory Systems Administrators:

  • This document lists a set of recommended “Trusted Sites” settings for Internet Explorer to allow the Cisco Webex Meetings client to run via ActiveX in Internet explorer. If followed, this guide should reduce prompts and errors experienced by end users in locked-down environments.
  • This can be applied directly in the browser settings on end user systems as well as via the Group Policy Management Console and Group Policy Editor.
  • These settings should ONLY be applied to the Trusted Sites or Intranet Zones. These should NOT be applied to the Internet Zone.
  • These are the settings enabled in the Group policy editor and linked to your end user groups or computer Organizational Unit (OU).
