Voicemail is heard when a participant joins the teleconference.
When an attendee uses the Call Me option, it goes to voicemail.
Voicemail plays when joining an audio conference.
Meeting is interrupted by voicemail.
Cause: The Join the teleconference without pressing "1": option is set to On in Site Administration or Control Hub.
Site Admins Only
In order to prevent voicemails from disrupting meetings, follow these steps.
Cisco Webex Meetings Site Administration:
- Log in to your Webex Meetings Site Administration. (Example: SITENAME.webex.com/admin.php)
- Click Configuration in the left panel.
- Click Common Site Settings > Options.
- Scroll down to the Default Scheduler Options section.
- Under Join the teleconference without pressing "1":, select Off.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, then click on Update.
Cisco Webex Control Hub:
- From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Services, and under Meeting, select Sites.
- Choose the Webex site to change the settings for, and click Configure Site.
- Under Common Settings, select Site Options.
- Scroll down to the Default Scheduler Options section.
- Under Join the teleconference without pressing "1":, select Off.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, then click on Update.
