AI Assistant can access information directly from your Microsoft files, like SharePoint, OneDrive, and Copilot, to give you much more detailed and helpful answers. You can easily search across all your data at once whenever you need to find something quickly.

Your organization administrator must enable this feature in Control Hub.

Open Webex and sign in.

Click Settings Settings button represented by a cog icon, then click Integrations.

Go to Allow Cisco AI Assistant to search selected source, and select from:

  • Microsoft Sharepoint

  • Microsoft Onedrive

  • Microsoft Copilot Connector

Click Add connection for each source you wish to enable. Each connection must be configured individually.

You'll be redirected to the Microsoft authorization page. Sign in with your account, and click Accept to authorize the Webex application.

Click AI Assistant Cisco AI Assistant icon in the app header, go to Sources in the AI panel, and select either All sources, or a specific individual source from the list.

  • Ask AI Assistant questions, or use the prompts, to search across the data sources to which you have access.

  • Answers come with citation links that point you directly to the source material, so you can quickly get to specific content for more information.

Click Stop generating to cancel an AI Assistant reply.

AI Assistant has trouble with subjective questions and may return some inaccurate results. Ask questions that start with: find, what, who, or use keywords, such as a project name.
