Currently, the configurable headset parameters in Control Hub are:

  • Firmware channel (all headset models)

  • Radio range (560 Series)

  • Audio bandwidth (560 Series)

  • Bluetooth (560 Series)

  • Conference (560 Series)

All other parameters are read-only at this time. Users can manually adjust their headset settings through Webex App or the Cisco Headsets mobile app.


 

Parameters for the Bang & Olufsen Cisco 980 don't appear in Control Hub at this time.

Changed settings apply automatically when you close the window.

All available administrator headset features are configurable from Control Hub. Customize, enable, or disable different features depending on your deployment environment.

Setting parameters are pulled from the device firmware so you can select and modify a variety of headset models at the same time. For example, if you select a Cisco Headset 730 and a Cisco Headset 560, parameters for both models appear and apply to the respective headsets.

When a headset connects to the Webex app, the app automatically checks the headset model and firmware version. If there's a newer firmware version available than what is on the headset, the user is prompted to upgrade.

 

This task details firmware management for a group of headsets. You can set the firmware channel for individual headsets through the All Configurations menu on the device page.
