You might need to remove someone from a meeting if they've joined or been added to the meeting accidentally, or if they're just not needed in the meeting.
Things to Keep in Mind
Your options to remove someone from a meeting depend on the type of meeting you've joined from Webex.
Webex Team Meeting
Webex team meetings are associated with spaces in the app, which might be moderated or unmoderated. Only moderators can remove someone from a meeting that's associated with an moderated space.
You can remove guests from the meeting. But, when you remove someone who belongs to the space, you'll be removing them from the space entirely. When you remove someone from a space, the person is notified that they've been removed from the space. They'll no longer receive notifications, but their content remains visible, based on your company’s data retention policy.
Webex Standard Meetings and Webex Personal Room Meetings
If you've joined a meeting that was scheduled with Webex or takes place in someone's Webex Personal Room, then only the meeting host can remove someone from the meeting. When you remove someone from a meeting, the person is notified that they've been removed from the meeting.
