When Spatial video is enabled on a Cisco Room Bar Pro, stereoscopic video is sent using two camera lenses. This realistic 3D view of the meeting space brings life-like video to Webex meeting participants using Apple Vision Pro.

Enable Spatial video

For an optimal experience using spatial video, make sure that your Room Bar Pro is mounted approximately 2 ft / 0.5 m above the table.

Spatial video is available by default on Room Bar Pro.

To use spatial video, enable it from the touch controller:

  1. Open the Control panel on the touch controller and tap Device settings.
  2. Scroll to and select Camera. Then select Spatial video.
  3. Toggle on Enable spatial video.

Once enabled, the Room Bar Pro will send spatial video whenever an Apple Vision Pro joins a meeting.

Calibrate the cameras (optional)

If this is the first time you’ve enabled spatial video on a Room Bar Pro, you should perform a camera calibration. Calibrating the cameras is not mandatory, but highly recommended. You will need to stand close to the Room Bar Pro holding the touch controller and move it in front of the cameras in order to calibrate it:

  1. In the Spatial video settings screen, tap the Start camera callibration button.
  2. The touch controller will remind you to stand close to the cameras. Tap Continue.
  3. A pattern appears on the touch controller. Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate.

Known limitations

When spatial video is enabled on a Room Bar Pro, the device will operate normally if there are no Apple Vision Pros in the call. However, when a Vison Pro user joins a Webex call, to ensure a consistent experience for all participants the Room Bar Pro will send both a 3D and a 2D video stream. Non-Vison Pro participants will receive the 2D video of the same view, but other camera features like framing and groups will be disabled while sending spatial video.
