a user interacting with the ‘Allow manual captioning’ option during a meeting to assign someone to type captions manually in real time

When you allow manual captioning, participants who show captions on Webex App for Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, and web see a notification in their meeting window letting them know that manual captioning is active. After you assign the captioner, participants start to see captions as soon as the captioner starts typing.

You can assign the captioner role to one participant at a time. The captioner can be anyone in the meeting, including a guest, the host, or a cohost. If multiple people take turns typing captions, change the captioner when the next person is ready to take over.

If you prefer, show automated captions or use a manual captioning service to add captions to your meeting.
