Add your B&O Cisco 950 to the Bang & Olufsen app

Before you begin

Make sure you have the latest version of the Bang & Olufsen mobile app. For more information about downloading the app, see Download the Bang & Olufsen mobile app.

Open and sign into the Bang & Olufsen app.

You need to create a user account when you first open the app. Make sure the location service in your phone is on for the Bang & Olufsen app.

Tap + on the upper-right corner of the screen.

Find and choose Bang & Olufsen Cisco 950.

Follow the set up procedure in the interactive guide to complete the process.

Manage Bluetooth devices

You can connect or disconnect the Bluetooth devices through the Bang & Olufsen mobile app. B&O Cisco 950 can connect with six Bluetooth sources at maximum and can work with two Bluetooth sources simultaneously.

Choose your B&O Cisco 950 in the Bang & Olufsen app.

On the Product settings page, choose Bluetooth management.

Choose the Bluetooth device that you want to connect or disconnect.

To add a device in the Bluetooth devices list, tap Pair new device.

You can also tap the Bluetooth icon on the product screen and toggle the Bluetooth devices that you want to connect or disconnect. To connect with a new device, choose More settings > Pair new device.

Personalize your B&O Cisco 950

You can personalize your B&O Cisco 950 to make it easier to identify in the Bluetooth device list.

Choose your B&O Cisco 950 in the Bang & Olufsen app.

On the Product settings page, choose Name.

Enter the new name and tap Save.

Customize your equalizer settings

To enhance your listening experience, you can choose one of the preset audio settings in the Sound modes. You can also create and save personal audio settings.

Do one of the following:

  • Choose one of the default sound modes.

  • Tap the Beoplay icon to create custom audio setting.

Customize your audio notifications

You can customize the audio notifications by choosing whether you want a voice prompt, tone, or no notification for the events such as an incoming call.

On the Product settings page, choose Notification customisation.

Choose the type of notifications that you want.

Customize your earbud gesture

You can customize the function for the double-tap gesture. You can choose one of the following functions that you prefer for custom button.

  • Track forward
  • Track back
  • Battery status
  • Voice assistant

On the Product settings page, choose Customize earbud gestures > Custom.

Select your preferred function.

Toggle automatic standby

By default, the B&O Cisco 950 Earbuds automatically go to sleep mode after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery. For example, if your earbuds are not in the ears or in the earbud case and are in an idle state, the earbuds go into standby after 15 minutes. You can wake up the earbuds from the standby mode by tapping either on the button of the left or right earbud. You can disable the automatic standby from the Bang & Olufsen app.

On the product page, turn the Automatic standby toggle on or off.

Adjust active noise cancellation levels

With B&O Cisco 950, you can choose not only the modes of active noise cancellation but also the level of the chosen modes. You can also enable the adaptive ANC.

On the product page, choose one of the following modes:

  • Noise cancellation
  • Transparency /Own voice
  • Neutral

If you choose Noise cancellation, swipe the Level left or right to set the level or turn the Adaptive ANC toggle on or off.

If you choose Transparency or Own voice, swipe the Level left or right to set the level.

View the battery level

The battery levels appear on the product page in the Bang & Olufsen app.

Tap the battery icon to see the battery levels for the left and right earbuds.

Update the firmware

Firmware updates improve your audio experience and add new functionality to your B&O Cisco 950. We recommend that you always install the latest software version. The Bang & Olufsen mobile app alerts you whenever there is new software available.
