Edge Connect Routing Recommendation
For customers using Webex Edge Connect, which provides direct private network peering to the Webex backbone, it is strongly recommended to advertise your public-facing network components, including DNS and Mail servers, over the Edge Connect link to prevent asymmetric routing issues that can block the services, improve overall service reliability and performance, and enable seamless failover to Internet routing during Edge Connect outages, thereby maintaining optimal network behavior and continuous service availability.
Note: The IP addresses and CIDR ranges listed on this page may change over time. Using the SPF record method is the best way to ensure seamless communication.
