Move participants to the stage in meetings, webinars, and events

Only you, not other meeting participants, see the changes that you make.

This feature isn’t available for webinars in webcast view.

Up to eight participants can appear on the stage at any given time. So, if the host or cohost syncs their stage and adds participants to it, you can only add more participants if one or more of the slots on the stage is available. 1	To move someone to the stage, drag their video thumbnail to it. You can also hover over a participant's video and click More > Move to stage or right-click their name in the participants panel and select Move to Stage. If you don't see the video thumbnail of the person that you want to add, click Next page or Previous page to find them.
2	To show or hide the active speaker from the stage, select Layout , and then toggle Show active speaker in stage on or off. On the Webex Suite meeting platform, on desktop, you can also set this when you're not in a meeting. Click Settings on the navigation sidebar, select Meetings > Layout, and check Always show the active speaker during content sharing. We save the setting so it applies to all future meetings.
3	To remove someone from the stage, click Remove from stage on their video.
4	(Optional) If you have multiple people on the stage and want to reorder them, done one of the following: Drag the video of a participant to the location that you want. Select More > Prioritize video order in the video of the participant that you want to move. You can't reorder participants of a stage that's synced by the host or cohost.

If you joined your meeting, webinar, or event from an iPad or Android tablet, you can move participants to the stage.

1	Tap More , select Settings, and then toggle on Stage 8 people support.
2	To move someone to the stage, drag their video thumbnail to it. You can also tap the participant video thumbnail, and then tap Move to stage. If you don't see the video thumbnail of the person that you want to add, drag the participant videos at the top of the screen right or left.
3	To show or hide the active speaker from the stage, select Layout , and then toggle Show Active Speaker in Stage on or off.
4	To remove someone from the stage, tap their video, and then tap Remove from stage.
