How Do I Send a Chat Message?

In a meeting or event, the presenter can define chat privileges for participants, specifying who has the authority to send chat messages. This guide will provide instructions on the functionality of the chat feature and its utilization during a meeting or event.


To send a chat message:

  1. Open the Chat panel:
  1. In the To drop-down list, select the recipient of the message.
  2. Press Enter.


To enable the Chat icon:
  1. Click on the Meeting or Event drop-down menu:
  1. Select Options....
  2. Select Chat.
  3. Click OK.
If you join a meeting or event that has already started, you can see chat messages sent by other participants after you enter.
