How Do I Increase Personal Recording Storage Limit?
    list-menuFeedback?
To increase your Webex Personal Recording Storage Limit, you can consider deleting unnecessary recordings, upgrading your Webex plan if available, or transferring recordings to an external storage or cloud service for more space. The exact method depends on the specific options offered by Webex.

    ANSWER
Please contact our Sales Team if you need additional storage or want to upgrade your service.
The default storage space for your Webex site, including all users, is 1 GB. This space is used for storing recordings and files uploaded by hosts.

This issue can be resolved by deleting unneeded Network-Based Recordings or by a Site Administrator increasing the storage allocation for your host account.
    • To delete recordings, see Delete or restore a Webex recording
    • To determine how much storage space is used on your Webex site, generate a Storage Usage Report, see View Storage Usage Reports for Your Webex Site
After increasing your storage capacity, you can determine the storage limits for individual hosts:

Follow the steps below to increase the storage allocation:

    • For individual hosts
    • For all hosts

To increase the storage allocation for individual hosts:

    1. Sign in to Control Hub, then go to Management > Users.
    2. Select the user to whom you want to allocate additional storage.
    3. Select Meetings.
    4. In the Settings apply to dropdown, select the site for allocating additional storage to the user.
    5. Click Advance settings, then locate the Additional recording storage field within the My Webex section.
    6. Enter the desired additional storage amount for the user.
    7. Click Update to apply the changes.

To increase the storage allocation for all hosts:

    1. Sign in to Control Hub.
    2. Navigate to Services > Meeting.
    3. Select the Webex site, and then click on Common Settings.
    4. Open the Site Options menu.
    5. Go to Storage, enable Personal recording storage limit, and enter the new storage amount in the appropriate My Webex field.
      • Notes:
        • You can determine which field to enter the value in by modifying a host account (Refer to the For individual hosts section above).
        • Disabling the 'Personal recording storage limit' option will allow hosts to use up to the maximum available storage on a site.
        • If you need to increase the storage available on your Webex site, you can contact the Cisco Webex Sales team to discuss site storage options. For help: How Do I Contact Webex Sales?
        • If the Personal recording storage limit option is enabled, and the value in the My Webex Standard or the My Webex Pro field is 0, either disable the Personal recording storage limit option or enter a 1 into the respective field.
    6. Click Save.
