You can raise your hand in a standard Webex App meeting or a Webex App Personal Room meeting only when you see beside your name in the participants list. The lock indicates that the host or cohost has muted you and you're not allowed to unmute yourself without permission.

If you're a host or cohost, you can raise your hand when you're muted or unmuted.

During a meeting, click Raised hand Raise Hand.

A raised hand Raised hand appears next to your name in the participants list.

If the host allows you to speak, you're prompted to unmute yourself.

Unmute yourself

To lower your hand, click Lower Hand.

During a meeting, go to the people list , and then tap Raise Hand.

A raised hand appears beside your name in the people list, indicating to the host that you want to speak.

If the host allows you to speak, you're prompted to unmute yourself.
