Manage cookies in User Hub and your Webex site
User Hub and your Webex site provides a cookie management interface to help you manage your privacy preferences when accessing Webex services through your web browser.
How cookie management works
User Hub and your Webex site use cookies, local storage, and tools like pixels to keep your experience with Webex services secure and efficient. These cookies support essential functions, provide performance insights, and enable optional features.
Cookie management in User Hub and your Webex site is designed to comply with global data protection regulations. By default, all optional cookies, including Functional and Performance cookies, are disabled in User Hub and your Webex site, regardless of your jurisdiction or region. This ensures compliance with global privacy regulations, particularly those that mandate an opt-in consent model. You must provide explicit consent to enable these optional cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies are enabled by default in User Hub and your Webex site.
During your first sign-in, you see a cookie management interface where you can review and set your preferences. You can choose to accept or reject specific cookie categories. Any changes you make are applied immediately to your current session and future sign-ins. If you reject certain cookie categories, User Hub and your Webex site stops loading those cookies in future sessions and updates your current session to match your preferences.
Cookie categories
User Hub and your Webex site organizes cookies into the following categories.
- Required cookies—These cookies secure your access to Webex services and enable their core features. These cookies prevent unauthorized access, manage internet traffic, and support essential functions in User Hub and your Webex site. You can't opt out of required cookies, but you can limit their use by disabling optional features that rely on them.
- Performance cookies (optional)—These cookies help Webex analyze how you interact with the platform to improve its features and functionality. These cookies provide insights into how you navigate the service, identify areas for improvement, and help troubleshoot issues. Disabling these cookies reduces our ability to enhance your experience and limits the information available for technical support.
- Functional cookies (optional)—These cookies enable optional features that enhance your experience. Disabling these cookies may limit non-essential functionalities, but you can still use the core features of Webex services.

Classification |
Duration | Retention period |
Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CK_LastLogin | Required | 1 year | 13 months | Allows unauthenticated attendees to enter an unlocked room if they have signed in within the last few weeks in classic view. This site administrator option is now retired and can’t be enabled through the user interface. |
| _csrf_ | Required | Session | Not stored | Stores a unique CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) token to help protect against CSRF attacks. Webex checks each request for a valid token and rejects any requests with a missing or incorrect token value. |
| CK_CDNHostStatus | Performance | Session | 13 months | Stores the CDN (Content Delivery Network) host endpoint and health status to support source file, package, and library downloads. This cookie helps detect CDN server status and doesn’t store any sensitive information. |
| ticket | Required | Session | As long as the customer maintains an active subscription. | Identifies the user's sign-in status and verifies authentication for subsequent actions in Webex. |
| trackingSessionID | Required | Session | Not stored | Maintains session state information across a series of requests from the same user and browser over time. Generates a unique meeting authentication token to encrypt and decrypt tokens when adding webinar materials. |
| CK_PMRAttendee | Functional | 1 year | 13 months | Stores the attendee’s user name and email after sign-in or CAPTCHA verification when joining a classic Personal Meeting Room (PMR). The cookie allows unauthenticated users to bypass CAPTCHA if they have previously signed in or joined a PMR and selected Remember Me. |
| CK_AttendeeInfo | Functional | 1 year | 13 months | Stores the attendee’s first name, last name, and email address after their last sign-in or when they join an Event Center (EC), Training Center (TC), or classic Personal Meeting Room (PMR). This occurs when the attendee selects Remember me on this computer. For unauthenticated users, the cookie provides an auto-filled experience for the first name, last name, and email when joining EC, TC, or classic PMR after selecting Remember me on this computer. |
| CK_AttendeeInformation | Functional | 1 year | 13 months | Stores the attendee’s first name, last name, and email address after their most recent meeting registration or webcast meeting, and if they select Remember me on this computer. For unauthenticated users, this cookie auto-fills the first name, last name, and email fields when registering for a meeting or joining a webinar. |
| CookieConsentOption | Required | 1 year | 13 months | Stores the user’s cookie consent preferences to determine whether functional
and performance cookies are allowed. Without this cookie, the cookie preference
mechanism can’t function properly. For example, the CookieConsentOption may record
values such as |

| webexInstallSuccess | Functional | 2 weeks | Not stored | Indicates whether the user has installed Webex App. |
| machineId | Functional | 1 year | 13 months | Identifies the user’s browser. |
| sessionCrId_[siteid]_[confid] | Functional | 30 minutes | Not stored | Tracks each time a user joins a single meeting. The cookie value remains unchanged if the user attempts to join the same meeting again within 30 minutes. |

| wbx | Required | 1 hour | 13 months | Stores a hash value for the kubed pod to maintain session stickiness. This ensures that all requests for a particular session are routed to the same physical machine that handled the initial request. By doing so, the cookie prevents loss of in-process session data caused by requests being routed to different servers. |
| CK_SchedulingTemplate_[siteid] | Functional | 1 hour | 13 months | Stores meeting template information when the user selects or saves a meeting template. When the user visits the scheduling page, Webex considers the template stored in this cookie. If the cookie isn’t present, Webex displays the user’s default meeting template from the backend. |
| CK_NewWebex_JoinWay_[siteid] | Functional | 1 year | 13 months | Stores the user’s selected join method, such as Webex App or Webex Meetings, and uses this information to generate the appropriate join link on the page. |
