Cisco Webex Room, Webex Board, and Desk Devices |
Webex Calling platform supports the following Room, Desk, and Webex Board Series. Some of these devices support native SIP registration. The devices that support native SIP registration also supports the Webex Calling features that are defined in the Webex Calling Feature Support Matrix. For more information about these devices, see Devices page. Devices that support native SIP registration to the Webex Calling platform:

To activate your Desk, Room, or Webex Board device on Webex Calling, the device must run the software version CE8.3.4 or later for RoomOS, depending on the device type. Webex Calling is supported on devices that run on RoomOS 10.x or newer version. Use a TRC6 remote control with the SX20 as the TRC5 isn’t supported. |
List of supported third-party devices
The use of third-party devices facilitate customer migrations to Webex Calling. The use of these devices on Webex Calling requires approval from your Cisco account manager to enable them for provisioning in Control Hub.
Third party devices are not supported as HELD devices for Redksy integration.

End of Life policy for Webex Calling devices
Cisco Multiplatform Phones (MPP)
End of Provisioning - 12 months before the published End-of-Hardware date, you can’t provision new or existing devices in Control Hub for Webex Calling or Wholesale.
End of Use - At the time of published End-of-Hardware Date, the devices stop functioning on Webex Calling or Wholesale.

Extension Requests: Partners must coordinate directly with the device vendor for any extension requests and subsequently report the outcome to Cisco.

Security Responsibility: Cisco is not liable for any security breaches involving devices after their End of Life (EOL) date. In the event of a security compromise, the partner must remove the affected devices from the Cisco Network.

Configuration Updates: Once a device reaches its EOL date, it will no longer receive configuration updates, and no new provisioning changes will be permitted.

Device Replacement: Devices removed from the Control Hub after the EOL date cannot be reprovisioned and must be replaced with Cisco-supported devices.
These guidelines are consistent with Cisco’s standard device lifecycle and security policies, ensuring network integrity and continued supportability.
