When Meeting Assistant has been added to a meeting, you can toggle on closed captioning from your device. With closed captioning you won’t miss a word.
Closed captioning is available in Webex Meetings when Webex Assistant for Meetings is enabled. Both the host and cohost can turn on Webex Assistant from their device during the meeting. Tap the Webex Assistant button from the call controls, and toggle Webex Assistant on.
The host can also enable Meeting Assistant from the meeting settings before the meeting begins. If the Meeting Assistant is not enabled, it is grayed out in the call controls menu.
Closed captioning isn’t available in space-backed meetings.
All participants can choose whether they want to have closed captioning on the screen of their own device. Tap the Webex Assistant button from the call controls, and toggle closed captioning on or off.
With closed captioning, you can see a maximum 3x3 view with the Grid layout.
If the meeting is recorded and the Meeting Assistant is on in the meeting, you get a transcript after the meeting. You can review and manage transcripts after the meeting. It’s not possible to see the transcription or mark highlights on device. Transcription and marking highlights is only available on the Webex Meeting app.
