'Sorry we missed you' emails were received by participants who actually attended the event.
Absentee emails were sent out to attendees who actually attended the event.

This issue is caused by attendees joining into an event after the host has ended the session. This will only occur if the event has not reached the scheduled duration.
See the bullet points below for ways to prevent this from occurring in the future:
- Leave the option for Allow attendees to join xx minutes before the scheduled start time unchecked on the event scheduler page.
- Keep your event running for the entire scheduled duration.
