The standard format for all recordings is MP4. Depending on your site settings, Webex displays a disclaimer each time that you download or play a recording. Accept the terms of the disclaimer to continue.


 

The MP4 format of meeting recordings supports the following video codecs and protocols: iso6, dsms, msix, and dash. Recordings should play in most media players. If you have issues playing recordings, try using a different app to play them or try converting the recording to another format.

Depending on your role, do one of the following:

If you're the hostIf you're an invitee or attendee
Go to Recordings and then locate and click the recording that you want to play.

Select the link in the email sent to you by the host.

OR

Paste the URL that the host provides into your web browser.

When the player appears, select Play. Use the 10-second fast-forward button 10-second Fast-forward button and 10-second rewind button 10-second Rewind button to find the most important points of a meeting. If a disclaimer appears, select Accept to accept the terms and continue.

When needed, use the 10-second fast-forward and 10-second rewind buttons to quickly reach the important parts of the recording.

The 10-second fast forward and rewind buttons are available on 42.1 and later sites.
