Error: 'Automatic pairing is off' on Webex Share Screen view.
The following error appears when a user tries to access screen sharing, but automatic pairing is disabled:
Note: Users can access the Device Pairing Diagnostics from the Device tab in Settings or Preferences, when Automatic Pairing is disabled. However, the Device Pairing Diagnostics panel appears blank.
Solution:
To resolve this issue:
- Click Automatic Pairing is off on the Share Screen View.
The Devices tab opens in the Preference or Options window.
- Depending on your operating system, do one of the following:
- Windows: Check the Automatic Pairing box, then click Save.
- Mac: Check the Automatic Pairing box.
