Note:

For best results when troubleshooting Cisco Jabber for Mac issues, use the Reset Jabber function to clear cached data before reproducing the issue and running the logs. The option to reset Jabber is only available if you are not currently logged in.

Solution:

To generate a Cisco Jabber for Mac log:

  1. Launch Cisco Jabber for Mac.
  2. Go to the Help menu, then select Report a Problem....

    The 'Cisco Unified Problem Reporting Assistant' window appears.
  3. On the Introduction tab, click on the View Privacy Statement... button to view the Cisco Online Privacy Statement Summary.
  4. Click the Continue button.

  1. On the Collect Information tab, enter a short title to describe the problem in the space provided.
  2. From the The issue you are seeing involves drop-down menu, select the most accurate situation.
  3. Enter a short description of the problem (including the exact time stamp of when the issue occurred) into the empty field.
  4. Click the Continue button.

  1. On the Generate Report tab, enter your email address in the Contact E-mail field.
  2. Click on Capture Screenshot if you need to add a screenshot of the issue in the problem report. Note that the screenshot is uploaded automatically to the problem report.
  3. Click the Generate button.
