Adaptive video technology from Webex provides amazing video experiences for devices when connecting to Webex Meetings, Webex Webinars, and Webex Events (classic). Webex supports both higher and lower bitrate devices. For those with more restricted network conditions, Webex automatically lowers video resolution and bitrates as needed.
By default, Webex allows 1080p video at 30 frames per second with up to 6-Mbps bandwidth for the entire meeting. The bandwidth offered by the service is split dynamically across the main video and shared content to provide the best experience.
The following is a summary of different video device configurations, expected video resolutions, and bandwidth requirements for Webex devices, SIP, and H.323-based third-party video devices.
