The site linking process links your Webex site to Control Hub so you have access to more Webex services and features, but user and license management for that linked Webex Meetings site is still done in Webex Site Administration.
However, if you move your Webex site from Site Administration to Control Hub, then Control Hub becomes the main unified administration portal where you manage all Webex services.
Cisco doesn't recommend moving Webex sites because of the following disruptions. We're developing a feature to seamlessly convert your linked Webex site from Site Administration to Control Hub without disruptions to services and preserving data for meetings, recordings, and more.

Set Up Control Hub Organization
Before moving your Webex site and users to Control Hub, follow these Control Hub foundational setup steps to minimize any issues when starting the moving process.
Move Users from Site Administration to Control Hub
If you linked your Webex site, you can link users from Site Administration to Control Hub and then turn on automatic account linking so that all users are automatically added to Control Hub.
Replace Site Administration with Control Hub
Decide whether you want to keep the same Webex site name or create a new one and choose from the options below on how you want to move to Control Hub.
If you're going to move to Control Hub, you will be setting up a new Webex site (your existing Webex site, recordings, and configurations won't carry over). Again, make sure you understand that:
Add a New Webex Site and Keep Old Webex Site
When you add a new Webex site under a new name, you get to keep a record of your recordings and configurations in Site Administration while slowly moving over users and licenses to Control Hub. This usually takes around 24 hours to complete. Make sure to check your licenses usage between the two Webex sites as you may need to redistribute licenses from your old Webex site to the one managed in Control Hub.
If you have extra Webex Meetings licenses available, you can allow users to keep their previously scheduled meetings on the Webex Site in Site Administration and schedule new meetings on the new Webex site. Users must sign out of the Webex Meetings desktop app, sign in under the new Webex site, and then update all their scheduled meetings with the new Webex site details.
Keep the Same Webex Site Name
If you want to keep the same Webex site name, then you can follow one of the moving processes described below.
Add a New Webex Site and Rename Old Webex Site
This option lets you slowly move over to Control Hub as you can keep the old Webex site while moving users and licenses to the new one. Start by adding a Webex site with any name for now. This usually takes around 24 hours to complete. Once you finish moving over all configurations and users to the new Webex site, you can either delete or rename the Webex site in Site Administration, and then rename the new Webex site to the name that you want to keep.
Delete Old Webex Site and Add a New Webex Site
There must be at least two Webex sites in Control Hub in order to delete a Webex site. If you only have one Webex site, you'll need to create a second Webex site to redistribute the licenses to before you can add a new Webex site.
If your old Webex site is linked, then you must contact the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to unlink the Webex site first before you can delete it.
