Increase participant engagement in your Webex meetings through Slido's Q&A feature. Once you launch Slido in Webex for Government, the Q&A is instantly ready for use.

During the meeting, participants can ask questions directly in the Slido sidebar within the Webex window. The moderation feature allows hosts and co-hosts review questions before they are visible to everyone, ensuring a smooth flow of discussion.

Slido has the highlighting feature for a question that's being discussed to keep participants informed and engaged. Before moving on to the next question, you can mark the question as answered or archive it.

With Slido, attendees can upvote questions submitted by others, enabling you to prioritize and address questions based on their popularity.

Depending on the poll type you choose, enter your question along with the possible answers and adjust the settings as necessary. The poll will be saved automatically once you click outside the input area.

Poll settings in Slido:

  • For a multiple-choice poll, you can enable participants to select multiple answers and mark the correct option.
  • In an open text poll, you have the option to let participants submit several responses and decide whether to display their names.

Running polls during the meeting

Comparing to Webex polling, with Slido, you can access the list of all your polls and surveys and select the one you want to activate for your participants.

During your meeting, you can start polls at any time, choosing to either temporarily hide the results or display them to participants as votes are submitted.

Security and privacy settings

By default, Participant Privacy is set to "Named," meaning that participants will respond to polls and ask questions in Q&A with their name unless you Allow anonymity. They will then be able to switch to anonymous if preferred.

Slido roles and collaboration

To help you create and run Slido polls and moderate Q&A, co-hosts in Webex Meetings have access to the host's Slido, similarly to the native Webex polling and Q&A.
