Do one of the following:

  • Before a meeting, click Settings Settings button represented by a cog icon on the navigation sidebar and then click Audio.
  • During a meeting, click Audio options a user interacting with the Mute button dropdown to access more audio options > Audio Settings.

Click Test beside one of the following options:

  • Speaker—A sound is played and you can adjust the volume as needed.

  • Microphone—Record a few words and then the words are played back to you so you can adjust your microphone as needed.

Do one of the following:

  • In the screen that appears before you start or join a meeting, click Audio options a user interacting with the Mute button dropdown to access more audio options and then click Test beside Speaker or Microphone.
  • During a meeting, click Audio options a user interacting with the Mute button dropdown to access more audio options > Test speaker and microphone.

Under Speaker, click Test.

A sound plays and the Output level bar should move.

Under Microphone, click Test, and then say a few words so the app can record your voice.

The Input level bar should move. The app then plays back your words.

What to do next

If you're having audio issues, check the following:

  • Your computer’s volume is turned up.

  • Your browser tab isn’t muted.

  • Speakers or headphones are properly connected.

  • Speakers or headphones are powered on.

  • The volume is turned up on your output device.
