Before you begin

You must have admin or coadmin access to the Box Admin Console.

For the commercial Webex environment, confirm the following settings:

  • In Control Hub, ensure that under Apps, the Embedded Apps setting is Enabled.

  • Also in Control Hub, ensure that under Embedded Apps, the Website URL's setting is Enabled. This ensures the Box tab is added to the space when sharing in a space from Box.

  • For the FedRAMP Webex environment, in Control Hub, ensure that under Apps, the Enable Embedded Apps setting is Enabled. This ensures the Box tab is added to the space when sharing in a space from Box.

Follow instructions for updating the Application Settings for Your Enterprise to enable official Box apps and third-party apps.

Choose an option for the Status of the app:

  • Disabled —Turn off app access.
  • Available —Install and use the app at any time.
  • Added by Default —Automatically install the app.

Follow the instructions for Installing Recommended Apps in your Enterprise select Share in Webex, and any other available apps for Box users in your organization.

Toggle on Enable Box Activity Stream to turn on Share to Webex events in Box.
