Error: "The URL's domain has been blocked. Contact your site administrator for more details."

I get an error when scheduling an event with destination URL after event.

I get an error when scheduling training with destination address after session.

Unable to set a destination URL while scheduling a meeting or an event.

The web page that displays once the event/session ends may not load properly if the URL is blocked in Site Admin.

Users may get an Error: "The URL's domain has been blocked. Contact your site administrator for more details", when the "Allow the following URL domain names" security option is enabled in Site Administration.

To fix the error:

  • Add the address / URL you need to be displayed once the event/session ends.

To add the address / URL you want to be displayed once the event/session ends:
  1. Log in to your Webex Meetings Site Administration page. (Example: SITENAME.Webex.com/admin.php)
  2. Click Configuration on the left pane.
  3. Hover the mouse over Common Site Settings, and then click on Options.
  4. Under Security Options, scroll down to the Other section.
  5. Add a destination address / URL you want to be displayed once the event/session ends to the Allow the following URL domain names option.
From Cisco Webex Control Hub:
  1. Log in to the Cisco Webex Control Hub at https://admin.webex.com.
  2. In the left pane, select Meeting under Services.
  3. Select the site you wish to configure, then select Configure Site.
  4. Under the Common settings section, click on Site Options.
  5. Under Security Options, scroll down to the Other section.
  6. Add a destination address / URL you want to be displayed once the event/session ends to the Allow the following URL domain names field.
