When you use the Electronic Hookswitch (EHS):

The EHS connects to the Cisco IP Phone 8811, 8841, and 8845 with the auxiliary port.
-
The EHS connects to the Cisco IP Phone 8851, 8861, and 8865 with the auxiliary port, the USB port, or with Bluetooth.
You connect your headset to the phone with the Y-cable (RJ-9 connector and AUX connector). Your administrator may need to enable the headset so that you can use it.
Cisco IP Conference Phone 7832 Multiplatform Phone Supported Accessories
The Cisco IP Conference Phone 7832 Multiplatform Phone does not support any accessories.
Cisco IP Conference Phone 8832 Multiplatform Phone Supported Accessories
You can use the Cisco IP Conference Phone 8832 wired microphones and wireless microphones. You can't use wired and wireless microphones at the same time.
