Manage Context Service Clusters

The Hybrid Context Services Resources page displays a list of all clusters, or applications registered for Context Service in your organization.

Before You Begin

Make sure that your organization is Entitled for Context Service and has Registered Applications or Clusters to use Context Service.

Access Context Service Resources

  1. Sign in to Cisco Webex Control Hub.

  2. Click Services to view the services enabled for your account.

  3. On the Hybrid Context card, click View all to open Hybrid Context Resources.

    The Resources tab of the Hybrid Context Service page displays a list of registered clusters and the service status of each cluster.

Add Clusters

Click Add Resource on the Resources tab of the Hybrid Context Service page to learn more about registering Context Service clusters. Alternately, see Register Your Application with Context Service for more information.

View Cluster Details

Click the cluster name in the Context Clusters list on the Hybrid Context Resources page to view cluster details. Cluster details include:

  • Upgrade Schedule—Indicates when the cluster is set to upgrade. Context Service clusters are automatically upgraded each time users connect to the service.

  • Nodes—Displays a list of nodes in this cluster when you click Open nodes list. The Context Service nodes include Management and Context connectors. See Context Service Connections for more information.

View Node Details

On the Resources tab of the Hybrid Context Service page, select a cluster then click Open nodes list to view node details for the cluster. Node details include:

  • Connectors—Displays the hostname of the nodes and the node connector type. The Context Service nodes include Management and Context connectors.

  • Status—Displays the status of the nodes in the selected cluster.

  • Version—Displays the version of the nodes in the selected cluster. Version also displays the serial number of the host running the node in the selected cluster.

Remove Nodes from a Hybrid Context Cluster

Remove a node from a Hybrid Context Cluster when the node no longer exists or the node initially appeared as part of an error.

  A removed node reappears in Cisco Webex Control Hub if it continues to connect to the cluster.

Before You Begin

You can only remove offline nodes from a Hybrid Context cluster if:

  • The Hybrid Context cluster you are removing the node from has at least two nodes.

  • The node you are removing is offline.

To Remove a Node:

  1. On the Resources tab of the Hybrid Context Service page, select a cluster. The cluster details open.

  2. Click Open nodes list in the cluster details. The node list opens.

  3. Click Actions on the node you want to remove, then select Remove Node. You are prompted to confirm removing the node.

  4. Click Remove.

    To exit without removing the node, click Cancel.
