TDS in India
In India only, Tax Deducted at the Source (TDS) certificates are required every quarter. In order to get your refund, send us your TDS certificate.
India's Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) regulation requires that income tax must be collected from the income source. This means that if you make a taxable payment to Cisco, you must deduct the tax from the payment at the prescribed rate and remit the tax to the Central India government.
The timelines for TDS certificates are specified in the table below and in applicable Indian tax law. For more information, see the Income Tax Department of India's TDS page.
To get credit for the amount deducted, you need to submit a TDS certificate to tdscreditsupport_in@cisco.com. It takes approximately 60 days for Cisco to process your refund.
Quarter | Certificates must be received by Cisco |
April to June | By August 31 |
July to September | By November 30 |
October to December | By February 28 |
January to March | By May 31 |
