Set Up the Cisco Webex Scheduler

To use the Cisco Webex Scheduler, you'll need a Cisco Webex Meetings account that includes a Webex Personal Room and a Google account. Your Webex administrator will need to enable your Webex site to use the Cisco Webex Scheduler with your Google account.

From your Chrome browser, go to the Cisco Webex Scheduler extension in the Chrome web store.

Select Add to Chrome.

Select the Cisco Webex Scheduler icon in your Chrome browser.

Sign in with your Google calendar account

Select your Webex site URL or enter it manually, and then select Next.

Select Sign In with Webex.

Schedule a Personal Room Meeting

Go to your Google Calendar, schedule a meeting, and add guests.

In the event details, select Add Webex Personal Room.

Select Save and then Send.

A Webex Personal Room meeting is added to your event, and invitations that include information on how to join are sent to your guests.

People can join your meeting by clicking your Webex Personal Room link or by dialing the video address from a video system or application. The information also includes call-in numbers so guests can join by phone.


 

You can also schedule a meeting by selecting the Cisco Webex Scheduler icon in the Chrome menu, selecting Schedule Meeting, and updating the meeting information.

Start an Instant Personal Room Meeting

Select the Cisco Webex Scheduler icon.

Select Start Meeting.

After the meeting starts, select Invite & Remind in the meeting window to invite others to your meeting.

View Upcoming Meetings

Select the Cisco Webex Scheduler icon.

Under My Meetings, view your upcoming Webex meetings.

  • If you're the host of the meeting, select Start to start the meeting.
  • If you're invited to the meeting, select Join to join the meeting.

Select View more to view additional meetings in your Google Calendar.
