For more information, see Video-Centric Network-Based MP4 Recordings in Webex Meetings and Webex Events.

Before you begin

This feature is available for meetings and events that are recorded in the cloud in MP4 format in WBS39.5 and later sites. This feature isn't available for meetings and events that are recorded locally, on the host's computer.

The feature isn't available for TSP audio sites, FedRAMP sites, data centers in China, or Video Platform version 1.0 sites. Browsers earlier than Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla Firefox 58, and Google Chrome 59 aren't able to display the video-centric MP4 player so recordings play using the standard MP4 player.

1

Sign in to Webex Site Administration and go to Configuration > Common Site Settings > Options.

2

Under Site Options, the Enable video centric recording check box is selected, by default, if your site is enabled for MP4 recordings. To disable video-centric recording for Webex Meetings and Webex Events, uncheck the Enable video centric recording check box.
