As a host you can enable automatic number identification or caller line identification to increase the security of your training session.
Schedule an Audio Conference with ANI/CLI Authentication
ANI (automatic number identification) or CLI (caller line identification) is a form of caller ID. It's a telephony intelligent service that sends a caller's phone number before the call is answered. Any dial-in caller with a host site account can be authenticated and placed into the correct audio conference without needing to enter a meeting number.
Be authenticated whenever you dial into any ANI/CLI-enabled audio conference you've been invited to by email. The call-in authentication is established by mapping your email address to a phone number in your user profile.
Call-in Authentication for Your Host Account
If you have a host account and your site is enabled for call-in authentication, you can set authentication for any phone number listed in your user profile. Your call is authenticated by mapping your email address against specified phone numbers in your profile whenever you dial into a CLI (caller line identification) or ANI (automatic number identification) enabled audio conference you have been invited to by email.
Caller authentication is only available if you have been invited to a CLI/ANI-enabled audio conference by email during the meeting scheduling process. Caller authentication is not available if you are dialing in to a CLI/ANI-enabled audio conference:
Specify Call-In Authentication for Your Host Account
Specify an Authentication PIN
If you have a host account and your site is enabled for CLI (caller line identification) or ANI (automatic number identification) audio conferences, use an authentication PIN. The PIN prevents spoofers from using your number to dial into an audio conference.
If your site administrator sets the authentication PIN as mandatory for all accounts using call-in authentication on your site, you must specify a PIN. Otherwise, caller authentication is disabled for your account.
