If you're a Microsoft 365 Global Administrator or Microsoft Teams administrator, you can set a Webex site for your entire organization. When you set an organization-wide Webex site, every channel in your organization uses that site if no other site is set. You can still set a different site for yourself or for a team.
Before you begin
1 |
If there are other Microsoft Teams administrators in your organization, they may have already set a site for your organization. To check whether or not a site has been set, in a private chat with the Webex Meetings bot, type site org and press Enter. |
2 |
If the Webex site hasn't been set or you want to set a different one, type site org [Webex site URL] and press Enter. Your Webex site URL is usually in the format company.webex.com. |
3 |
If you want to remove the Webex site as the default for your organization, type site org reset and press Enter. |
1 |
In Microsoft Teams, select Add a tab
|
2 |
Search for and select the Webex Meetings app. If you don't get any search results, make sure that you have version 2.0 or later of the Meetings app. For more information, see Add or Update the Webex Meetings App for a Team. |
3 |
Follow the on-screen instructions and, if prompted, accept the requested permissions. |
4 |
Click Consent on behalf of your organization in the permission request window so that each person in your organization doesn’t have to accept the requested permissions individually. |
