You'll need to be a moderator of the team to add people to it. When you add someone to a team, they’re automatically added to the team’s General space, and can then view and join any other space in the team.

Click Teams and then select a team.

Select Members, click Add team member, enter the person's name or email address, and then choose them from the list.

Go to Messaging, tap Teams and select a team.

Tap Team Members, then tap Add Team Member. You can add several people at a time, type the first letters of their name or their email address, and select them from the list.

Then, tap Add.
