Specify a Default Time Zone

Set a default time zone for the Webex service site. All times, including the start and end times for meetings, appear in the selected time zone.

From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Services, and under Meeting, select Sites.

Choose the Webex site to change the settings for, and click Configure Site.

Under Common Settings, select Site Options.

In the Site Options section, select a time zone from the Time zone drop-down list.

To display the GMT offset for time zones in emails and web pages, check Display the GMT offset for time zones in emails and web pages.

Click Update.

Specify the Number of Items in Lists

From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Services, and under Meeting, select Sites.

Choose the Webex site to change the settings for, and click Configure Site.

Under Common Settings, select Site Options.

Under the Site Options section, enter the number of items to display in the Number of listings per page box.

Click Update.

Change the Top Navigation Bar

This procedure is for Webex Enterprise Edition sites only.

The order in which the buttons appear on the navigation bar at the top of the Webex Enterprise Edition site can be changed.

From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Services, and under Meeting, select Sites.

Choose the Webex site to change the settings for, and click Configure Site.

Under Common Settings, click Site Options.

Scroll down to the Top Navigation Bar Configuration section.

To include services that are not enabled for the site in the list, check the Display services that are not enabled for this site box.

Select a service and then click the Move Up or Move Down buttons to change the order that the buttons appear on the navigation bar.

Click Update.

Customize the Left Navigation Links for My Webex

From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Services, and under Meeting, select Sites.

Choose the Webex site to change the settings for, and click Configure Site.

Under Common Settings, select Site Options.

Scroll to the Left Navigation Bar Customization for My Webex section, and choose the section that corresponds to the type of link to add.

Enter a name for the link in the Name of menu item field.

Enter the URL to display when users select the link.

"http://" is not required in the URL.

From the Target window list, choose how the web page or document opens:

  • New Window: To open the page in a new browser window.

  • Main: To open the page in the mainframe of a web page that uses frames.

  • Parent: To open the page in the parent frame of a web page that uses frames.

  • Top: To open the page in the top frame of a web page that uses frames.

For custom or partner links, click Browse..., and upload an image file to be displayed as a clickable image in place of the link.

The image file can be up to 25 X 25 pixels.

Click Update.

Customize the Left Navigation Links for All Services

From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Services, and under Meeting, select Sites.

Choose the Webex site to change the settings for, and click Configure Site.

Under Common Settings, select Site Options.

Scroll to the Left Navigation Bar Customization for All Services section, and choose the section that corresponds to the type of link to add.

To add custom links to a new group, enter a Group label for custom links.

Enter a name for the link in the Name of menu item field, and the URL to display when users select the link.

From the Target window list, choose how the web page or document opens.

  • New Window: To open the page in a new browser window.

  • Main: To open the page in the mainframe of a web page that uses frames.

  • Parent: To open the page in the parent frame of a web page that uses frames.

  • Top: To open the page in the top frame of a web page that uses frames.

Click Update.

Hide Webex Promotional Content

This procedure is for Webex Meetings, Webex Events, Webex Training, and Webex Support only.

Certain pages, such as the standard Webex end-of-session (landing) pages, the join pages, and invitation email messages, contain messages that introduce Webex features. Site administrators can use this procedure to remove this promotional content from those pages.

From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Services, and under Meeting, click Sites.

Choose the Webex site to change the settings for, and click Configure Site.

Choose one of the following options:

  • For Webex Meetings, select Site Options, and uncheck Show promotional content for each item to hide promotional content.
  • For Webex Events, select Site Options, and uncheck Show promotional content for each item to hide promotional content.
  • For Webex Training, select Site Options, and uncheck Show promotional content for each item to hide promotional content.
  • For Webex Support, select Default Options, scroll down to the Promotion section, and enter a new page URL in the Promotion page url box.
