Jabber | Stop Sharing Your Status
If you don't want people to see when you're using Jabber, you can stop sharing your status. Other users won't see whether you're active, away, on a call, and so on. When you're not sharing your own status, you won't be able to see anyone else's status.

Click on your proflie picture |

Clear the check box under Show Statuses to stop showing your status. |
