Before you begin

Make sure your app is connected to a Webex Room Device.

This feature is available on our Webex Suite meeting platform. Find out if your meetings use the Webex Suite meeting platform.

Open Webex and sign in.

Join the meeting from Webex App by clicking the green join button in your spaces list.

You see a Device controls panel on the right of the meeting window.

In the Device controls panel, adjust the following on the device:

  • Click Mute device Mute button or Unmute device Unmute button.
  • Click Stop video Stop video button or Start video Start video button.
  • Click Device volume Speaker option to use while on calls. and adjust the device's volume.
  • Click Show self-view video show self-view button or Hide self-view video hide self-view button.

    Your self view is your own view of your video during a meeting. It lets you see the same view of yourself that others see. Hide your self view if you prefer not to look at yourself, even if you like being on video.

  • Click Device layout and choose a video layout.

If you close the Device controls panel, in the meeting controls, click Device controls to open the panel again.

To share content, share it from the meeting window.

To leave the meeting, click Leave meeting Leave meeting or end meeting for everyone.
