Depending on how your Webex site is configured, the audio of MP4 meeting recordings may be set up to be transcribed automatically. Site administrators can turn on this functionality for everyone, for specific users, or allow you to turn this on for yourself. For more information, see Create recording transcripts in Webex Meetings, Webex Webinars, and Webex Events (classic) .

Hosts can exclude the transcript if they don't want others to see it when they play the recording.

Play the meeting recording .

The transcript appears to the right of the video.

To find a keyword in the transcript, type a word or phrase in the search box.

Matching results are highlighted in the transcript.

If you're the host and you want to edit the transcript text, click the pencil icon next to the text that you want to edit, edit the text, and click Save .
