How cookie management works

Control Hub uses cookies, local storage, and tools like pixels to keep your experience with Webex services secure and efficient. These cookies support essential functions, provide performance insights, and enable optional features.

Cookie management in Control Hub is designed to comply with global data protection regulations. By default, all optional cookies, including Functional and Performance cookies, are disabled in Control Hub, regardless of your jurisdiction or region. This ensures compliance with global privacy regulations, particularly those that mandate an opt-in consent model. You must provide explicit consent to enable these optional cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies are enabled by default in Control Hub.

Use the Cookie Preference Center to opt-in to Functional and Performance cookies. During your first sign-in, you see a cookie management interface where you can review and set your preferences.

You can also access the Cookie Preference Center whenever you want to adjust your cookie settings. Your changes apply right away to your current session and future sign-ins. If you reject certain cookie categories, Control Hub stops loading those cookies in future sessions and updates your current session to match your preferences.

Cookie categories

Control Hub organizes cookies into the following categories. You can select the categories in the Cookie Preference Center to learn more or update your settings:

  • Required cookies—These cookies secure your access to Webex services and enable their core features. These cookies prevent unauthorized access, manage internet traffic, and support essential functions in Control Hub. You can't opt out of required cookies, but you can limit their use by disabling optional features that rely on them.
  • Performance cookies (optional)—These cookies help Webex analyze how you interact with the platform to improve its features and functionality. These cookies provide insights into how you navigate the service, identify areas for improvement, and help troubleshoot issues. Disabling these cookies reduces our ability to enhance your experience and limits the information available for technical support.
  • Functional cookies (optional)—These cookies enable optional features that enhance your experience. Disabling these cookies may limit non-essential functionalities, but you can still use the core features of Webex services.

Third-party cookies

In addition to cookies set directly by Control Hub, Webex services use third-party cookies provided by trusted partners and vendors. These cookies help deliver features such as advertising, analytics, and personalization to improve your overall experience.

Third-party cookies may involve sharing data with external vendors who adhere to Cisco’s privacy and security standards to protect your information. The following table lists the third-party cookie vendors currently in use.

Manage cookie preferences
