You can answer, reject, mute, hold, and end calls all from your Cisco Headset 520 and 530 Series.

Make and answer calls

When you have an incoming call, you hear the ringtone in your headset.

On the inline controller, press Call the call button.

Adjust your volume

PressUpup or Downdown on the inline controller.

Mute yourself on a call

Press Mute the mute button on the inline controller.

Place a call on hold

Press Call the call button once on the inline controller.

If you have an incoming call, the headset answers automatically.

End a call

Hold Call the call button on the inline controller until you hear a tone.

Reject a call

Press Call the call button twice on the inline controller.

Press Call the call button on the inline controller.

Select the call you want to resume.

Press Call.

Hold Call the call button until you hear a tone.

Turn your headset on and off

Hold Call the call button on your headset for 4 seconds. You hear a tone indicating headset status.

Do one of these actions:

  • Hold Call the call button for 1 second to turn the headset back on.
  • Place the headset on the base.
