Before you begin

  • Your administrator must have configured the voice portal for your location. Otherwise, your call to voice portal fails.

  • Your administrator must have enabled voicemail forwarding for your organization.

  • You need to enter your passcode to begin the recording process. The passcode refers to your voicemail PIN. You can use the passcode given by your administrator. Otherwise, you can set your passcode from the User Hub. See  Set or reset your voicemail PIN for more details.

Dial *62 from your phone or Webex App to call the voice portal.

Perform one of the following actions:

  • If you're calling from your own phone, enter your passcode followed by #.

  • If you’re not calling from your own phone, press *, enter your mailbox ID (usually, your extension) followed by #, and then enter your passcode followed by #.

If you haven’t recorded your personalized name before, you’re asked to record your name before you proceed.

Press 1 to access the voice messages.

Press 1 again to listen to your current voice message.

Press 9 for additional options.

Press 2 to forward the current message. You're asked to record an introduction before sending the message. Once finished, press the pound (#) key.

You can't proceed until you record an introduction.

Press 3 to forward to one or more destinations.

You're prompted to enter the extension/mailbox ID of the new recipient followed by the pound (#) key.

The system sends your voice message to the extension/mailbox ID previously entered.

Once finished, end the call or listen to additional voicemail menu options.
