    How to Clear the Webex Cache

    Clearing the Webex Cache can be a simple way to resolve the issue you're having with Webex. Check out this article to view instructions for Windows and Mac operating systems.

    The easiest and first step to clearing the Webex cache is to reset it through the Webex App. This can be done within the application by going to Help > Health Checker and clicking on Reset.

    If that does not resolve the issue, or you cannot launch the Webex App, please continue with the steps below.
     
    • Windows
    • Mac
    Follow the steps below to clear the Webex cache on Microsoft Windows:
    1. Sign out of and close the Webex client.
    2. Open the Task Manager by holding Ctrl + Alt + Del on your keyboard.
    3. Click More details.
    4. On the Processes tab, right-click Webex and select End Task.
    5. Right-click on the Windows (Start) button and select Run.
    6. In the pop-up box, enter %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local
    7. Locate the CiscoSpark folder. Delete all contents of the folder.
    8. Launch Webex
    Follow the steps below to clear the Webex cache on Mac:
    1. Sign out of and close the Webex client.
    2. Open Finder.
    3. In the Finder menu bar, click Go > Go to Folder...

    4. Enter ~/Library/Caches
    5. Locate the Cisco-Systems.Spark folder and/or the Cisco Spark folder. Delete all contents of the folder.
    6. In the menu bar, click Go > Go to Folder...
    7. Enter ~/Library/Application Support
    8. Locate the Cisco-Systems.Spark folder and/or the Cisco Spark folder. Delete all contents of the folder.
    9. Launch Webex
