Frequently asked questions
What is the custom dictionary feature?

What are some good word options for my custom dictionary?
Recommended entries for your custom dictionary include:
-
Organization acronyms, industry jargon, specialized terms, people's names, product names, and organization names.
-
Avoid adding regular or standard English words.
Transcription engines are already trained on large datasets that cover standard English vocabulary. Adding standard English words to your custom dictionary can lead to transcription errors. For better accuracy, focus on adding acronyms, specialized terms, and names that aren't typically found in standard English. This approach allows the custom dictionary to accurately recognize and transcribe unique terms.
