Install and set up Meetings for Slack. Some steps must be completed by a Webex site administrator, while others must be done by a Slack workspace administrator or owner. Follow the steps to get your users up and running with Meetings for Slack.
As a Slack administrator, you can install the Meetings app for your entire organization. This allows you to manage which workspaces have the Meetings app enabled all from one place.
Before you begin
Your Webex site administrator must enable the Slack integration so that workspace members can use the Meetings app in Slack.
From the Apps page in the Slack Enterprise Grid Admin Dashboard, click .
Click Allow to grant Meetings permission to access your Slack organization.
From the Apps page in the Slack Enterprise Grid Admin Dashboard, click the three dots in the Webex Meeting row, and then click Add to more workspaces.
Check the boxes next to the workspaces that you want to add the Meetings app to. You can also check the box next to Workspaces to select every workspace.
If you want to add the Meetings app to new workspaces automatically, check the box next to Default for future workspaces.
Click I'm ready to add this app, and then click Add App.
Slack Workspace owners and administrators
Your Webex site administrator must enable the Slack integration, and your Slack workspace owner or administrator must install the Meetings app for Slack so that workspace members can use the Meetings app in Slack.
If you don't have the latest version of the app, your Slack workspace owner or administrator must use these same installation instructions to upgrade the app so you can use the latest features. For the best experience, make sure the primary workspace owner installs the Meetings app.

As a Workspace Primary Owner, you can prevent public channels from using Personal Room for instant meetings. Using Call or the
/webex command in any public channel schedules a meeting using the Webex site that’s set for that channel. Instant meetings started in private channels or direct messages continue to use Personal Rooms for hosts who have them.

Webex site administrators
Webex site administrators must link users' Webex accounts to their Slack accounts before users with a Slack account can schedule and view their upcoming Webex meetings in Slack. Also, users will be able to join Webex meetings from Slack without having to enter their Webex username and password.
The email addresses for the Webex and Slack accounts should match.

We support the following languages: English (UK), English (US), French, German, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America), and Spanish (Spain).
You can change your language preference to one of several languages in the Slack app. If your preferred language differs from the default language of your workspace, messages visible only to you now appear in your selected language but workspace-wide messages appear in your workspace’s default language.
If another member’s preferred language differs from the default language of the workspace or from your preferred language, messages visible only to that member appear in that member's preferred language.
Meetings app commands for setup
Use these commands to set up the Meetings app to use your team Webex site URL for your organization:
Displays the current Webex site URL for your team, as well as your preferred Webex site URL and your Personal Room ID, if you have set them.
Example: /webexconfig site teamsite.webex.com
Sets the Webex site URL for their team. When you share a meeting link, your team's Webex site URL is used if you don’t have a preferred site set.
/webexconfig site reset
Removes your team Webex site URL.
Sets public channels in your organization to use the Webex site for instant meetings instead of Personal Rooms. Private channels and direct messages still use Personal Rooms for instant meetings.
Resets public channels to use Personal Rooms for instant meetings.
