Webex Calling sends emails for various calling-specific services, such as voicemail attachments, fax notifications, and call event notifications.

Cisco has updated its email distribution system to deliver a more consistent and branded user experience.

As part of this email distribution system update, Cisco will make the following changes:

  • The email headers, particularly the FROM header, will no longer display a sender name. The email address is set to webex_comm@webex.com.

  • The Reply-To header is not populated by default, unless customized by the administrator.

Here is an example of the email headers before and after the change.
