Customers and partners can easily migrate from existing Unified CM or HCS solutions, to Webex Calling while maintaining investments that have already been made in existing desk phone hardware.
After completing the straightforward firmware migration process, the Cisco 7800 and 8800 Series IP Phones operating in Enterprise mode for interfacing with Unified CM and Hosted Collaboration Solutions (HCS) can be converted into Multi-Platform Phone (MPP) mode for use with Webex Calling.
This firmware migration process allows customers and partners to obtain the required upgrade licenses, included with their Webex Calling license, and perform the necessary firmware migration.
