Set up AI integrations in Control Hub

list-menuFeedback?
Before turning on the ability for AI Assistant to search external sources, you must set up integrations with third-party applications such as Glean.

This allows users to search for information in applications outside of Webex from within Ask Me Anything. You can then turn on the internal and external sources you want to search.

This feature is currently available on a limited basis, and will be more widely available at a later date. Contact us if you want to enable it.

Users can choose to integrate Webex with Glean if it fits their needs. However, once customers' data leaves Webex and moves to a non-Cisco product like Glean, Cisco is no longer responsible for it. The protection and handling of customer data within Glean will follow Glean's own contracts and policies.

1

Sign in to Control Hub.

2

Under Management, select Organization settings.

3

Click the Templates tab.

4

Click Create template, or if you're editing an existing template, select it in the list.

5

In the AI Assistant integrations section, click Set up.

6

Click the third-party tool you want to integrate.

7

Enter the required fields:

  • Glean URL—This is provided when you purchase Glean.
  • Client API token—You must have the Super Admin role in Glean to generate a Client API token, and have the credentials to integrate Cisco and Glean.
8

Click Apply.

A check mark is shown next to completed integrations.
9

Set up your AI Assistant search sources.

After you've set up AI Assistant search sources, if a user wants to use Glean in Webex App, they must have a Glean license. Licenses are assigned by the Glean administrator. The user's email must be the same in Glean and Webex App.
