I get prompted to download SAML2AuthService while logging into SSO enabled Cisco Jabber.
Cisco Jabber prompts to download SAML2AuthService on a Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled domain.
Cause:
This issue may occur due to a registry key missing under the MIME directory.
Solution:
Get assistance from your company IT department to create the below registry key:
- Open Notepad.
- Copy / Paste the below code into the Notepad:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\text/xml]
"CLSID"="{48123BC4-99D9-11D1-A6B3-00C04FD91555}"
"Extension"=".xml"
"Encoding"=hex:08,00,00,00
- Save the Notepad file with an .REG extension. As an example: mime.reg
- Double-click on the saved .REG file to load the key into the registry.
- Reboot the computer.
Try to log in to Jabber again.
